mirror mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all

Nasci em Lisboa em 1976. Desde muito cedo a fotografia fez parte de mim.Ver a vida por uma lente fez de mim a pessoa que sou hoje. Em 1997 inicio o Curso de Audiovisuais da Escola Artística António Arroio e dois anos depois na ETIC, ao receber o 1º prémio da Bolsa de Estudo Nameloja.

O auto-retrato é um dos temas sempre presente, com uma vertente bastante teatral.

É no mundo das Artes Performativas que procuro descobrir e desafiar cada imagem. Olga Roriz, Eva Weber, Miguel Moreira, João Garcia Miguel, Paulo Ribeiro,Vera Mantero e muitos outros fazem parte desse meu percurso.

I was born in 1976. Since very young photography become an important part of my life. Seeing life through a lens made me the person I am today. In 1976 I began a Audio Visual Course at Escola Artística António Arroio and two years later at ETIC, as a first prize winner of a scholarship.

Self Portrait is on of the themes always present, with a very theatrical feeling.

In the Performing Arts world is were I try to discover and challenge every image. Olga Roriz, Eva Weber, Miguel Moreira, João Garcia Miguel, Paulo Ribeiro,Vera Mantero and many others are part of this journey.
